HUNTING AND SHOOTING VIDEOS

Front Cover

North of Windhoek and northwest of Otjiwarongo, near the famous Etosha National Park, is the headquarters of Johann van den Berg’s Mashete Safaris which is a part of the vast 1,000,000-acre Etosha Conservancy hunting block. It is here that Ken Wilson successfully hunts three species that can only be hunted in Namibia: the diminutive Damara Dik-Dik, the beautiful Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra, and the dangerous Namibian Oryx. Ken is also able to get footage of two species that can be hunted in Namibia, but which cannot currently be imported to the United States: Cheetah and Black-Faced Impala. And, following eventful side-trips to video Vingerklip and the spectacular wildlife concentrations in Etosha National Park, Johann guides Ken to good specimens of Southern Greater Kudu, Red Hartebeest, and Kalahari Springbok.
